Wow, I knew sex ed is bad in the US, but I couldn't even imagine how bad it really is before. I'm from Germany and sex ed here is pretty decent. They taught us about consent, pregnancy and menstruation in 4th grade and about contaception, STDs and more about pregnancy in 7th grade. I guess YMMV. I thought the fast pace was fun, and actually helped emphasize the more important information by spending more time on the answers than other stuff.
